Amazing staff and delicious food!

The breakfast was excellent! I ordered the brisket scramble and my wife ordered the eggs benedict. Both meals came out promptly and tasted great. Awesome family-owned restaurant that is a must if you are visiting Long Beach!

Yumm! Small little place! But worth the $$ they had a weird seating system the greeter didn’t greet people but wait for people to ask or say how many, found that odd, since we stood and waited for 15 mins. Other than that was delicious definitely worth a visit.

Decent area for breakfast the was open on Christmas Eve morning (only one in the area that was open today for breakfast). Food was average, nothing quite special. Portions are average as well. My friend ordered a seafood pancake but the cheese wasn't melted and the crab tasted like frozen imitation meat. The staff are extremely helpful and kind but the prices were just not good enough for the average quality of the food.

My husband got the seafood omelet and it was disgusting. When the food got to the table I could smell how fishy it was. The service was bad as well. It may be one of the only breakfast places in Long Beach, but don't waste your time or money. He got sick later that day. Yuck!

Food was cold, messed out our order, garbage stuck in water cup... definitely never coming back. So not worth how expensive the food was!!

This is a cute little Denny’s esque place with a regular customer atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is good, restaurant is clean.

It was pretty good, I had the scramble. I enjoyed it. Toast could of been toasted more but really who cares about toast. Poor toast :(Since I'm not a nerd I didn't take a pix of my food. I'd recommend this place and I'm an expert so you must go or I will haunt your dreams.

We ordered for our pancake and we got a French toast. Anyways breakfast wasn't bad.

Was a nice sit down place. Very popular with how busy it was. Shopping nearby in case of wait. Food tasted really good, and was was the first place I've been given refills on Orange Juice! All in all we enjoyed our food.

Good service, clean restaurant, and decent prices. They opened at 7:30 AM when I was in town, which was nice because no other breakfast place was open yet. Better than average cafe food. They have marrionberry syrup for their pancakes. Yes!

I had the Seafood omelet. It is my favorite of all their items. The service is always friendly and efficient. It's my favorite breakfast place in Long Beach Wa.

So flipping good. I've only gotten the breakfast here, a crab omelet with cheddar and hashbrowns, super good. The oysters and eggs is delicious. My daughter got the strawberry and whip cream french toast and liked it. The kids menu is a little weird, if you order the pancake, it is literally 1 large but thin pancake without anything else. The restaurant is a bit crowded, but still a good breakfast spot while on vacation.

Had the Ham Eggs Benedict. Delicious food, friendly staff. I will definitely be back.

Went to Benson's 1/31/2020. I had the "veggie scramble", scrambled eggs onion, tomato, bell pepper, mushrooms. With hashbrowns and English muffin. I couldn't hardly finish it. I'm not a big water, but, it was still a lot. Add in coffee, and water, and, it is enough for most anyone. There are other larger breakfasts on the menu, with different types of meat and fish and "she'll fish"

A cute little place to get a good breakfast while seeing the sights and touring Long Beach. Would definitely eat here again!

Good food. Worth stopping in. Pepsi products for soda. There may be quite a bit of waiting depending on your timing. May be best to bring cash - they do add on a heavy surcharge if you use a card. They have classic breakfast items - see menu.

Benson's by the Beach was a nice little place for a good breakfast. The wait staff was friendly and timely with coffee refills etc. We did end up waiting quite a while for our food to come out even though it didnt seem too busy. If you're given the option of seating, definitely choose the window area as it seems much more cheery and light. Overall, good eats.

Wonderful service. Small family owned. Extremely nice people. We went in there when it was packed. We thought it would take a while for us to be seated and to get our food (which is fine) because there is a sign that says “be patient we have a small kitchen” with some other thing and that’s totally fine. But we got seated after not even ten min. We got our food in the same amount of time. And we never had to ask for someone to refill our drinks!! Great place to eat. And I don’t normally write reviews but this place deserves it

Some of the best breakfast food I have had in a long time.

Never been here before seemed packed. Two workers walked past my family and I waiting to be put on the list. We stood there 10 minutes. Made room for others that were coming in and then the workers went up to them first putting their names down. So I left because it's the second time this has happened in 24 hours. I come to long beach from 200 miles away each year. This is the 2nd bad rating this year I've had to give. I spend thousands every time I come and i guarantee I won't be back next year.

Their pan fried oysters are to die for!! Absolutely one of the best tasting pan fried oysters I've ever had.
